2022 7.7kW home solar power installation with RG&E grid hookup. A friend got a quote from GreenSpark to install solar on their roof, but the inverter they insisted on using did not support battery storage. We decided to modify the plans they provided us, using different panels, a more future-proof inverter, and S-5! mounting brackets to take advantage of their corrugated metal roof.
Permit Application
Below is the permit application we modified from the original GreenSpark plan. This was accepted by the town and a permit was granted for the DIY installation.
